THE TOUR 22
Paddle the most iconic stretch of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
We’re the only trip along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore that shows you the best of the park. Cruise aboard our 56-foot passenger vessel and launch your kayak right where the most notable scenery begins.
Our boat follows you—making it more safe and convenient for varied ages and abilities.
Because our launch boat follows you along as you paddle, you’ll always be within a reasonable distance of emergency help and restrooms. Families and seniors can choose to take a break at any time, making your trip as comfortable as possible. (We still don’t recommend this tour for smaller children.)
Trips are approximately 4-5 hours long with around 2 hours—or 5 miles—of kayaking time.
Your tour begins at the East Channel of Munising Bay and heads into Lake Superior where you will launch your kayak just past Painted Coves. Once finished with the paddle portion of the trip, board the boat for a ride back to shore.
Alternate Tour
Sometimes Mother Nature has different plans and we cannot safely kayak along Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. When the winds are too strong and the waves are too big, we offer an alternate tour along Grand Island. Read on about our alternate tour.
